Reverse Osmosis
What is reverse osmosis?
Reverseosmosis,oftenreferredtoasRO,isanadvancedwaterpurificationmethodthatwasini-
tiallydevelopedbytheU.S.Navytoproducedrinkingwaterfromseawaterforsubmarinecrews.It
isamembranefiltrationtechnologythatworksbyforcingwaterunderpressurethroughtheverytiny

branetechnologywithcarbonandmechanicalfiltrationtoproducehighlypurified,great-tastingwater.
How does it work?
Inmodernhomeunits,waterdeliveredbynormalcitywaterpressure,firstflowsthroughasediment

whichremovesorganiccontaminantsincludingchlorineanditsby-products.Then,itentersthe
